About Scented Candle Cold Water - Pappas

This delightfully fragrant Papa's scented candle is, of course, hand-produced/poured and 100% plant-based, made from soybeans and botanical oils. It's GMO-free (does not contain genetically manipulated material).

Cold Water Scent: It's like taking a walk on the beach. A nice fresh scent with top notes of citrus, black currant and pineapple. Middle notes of honeydew, lily of the valley and water lily. The base scent is vetiver, amber and mulberry, combined with cedarwood and bergamot.

Burn Time: 20-25 hours
Height: 62mm
Diameter: 59mm

What do you need to take into account with a candle?
-Make sure the candle always burns for at least 2 hours, preferably even between 3 and 4 hours for the most ideal fragrance and pool* result.
-The wick needs regular trimming. Ensure the wick always protrudes 0.5 centimeters above the candle. This will provide a better result.
-How do you trim a wick? Wait until the candle has solidified and cut the wick with a pair of scissors to about 0.5 centimeters. Remove the leftovers.
-A candle has started tunneling*, this only happens if the candle has not burned long enough. If this happens, you can easily solve this by letting the candle burn for at least 3 hours, which causes the candle to pool and the problem is solved.
The wick may "drown" as a result. Then take some kitchen or toilet paper and soak it in the liquid soy, it removes some soy wax from the candle and the wick re-emerges.
-Only place the lid back on the candle when it has completely cooled and solidified.
-Optionally, use the candle lid as a coaster to prevent the surface from overheating and damaging.
*Pooling: When a candle is burned correctly it will pool. The soy will liquefy all the way to the glass without leaving a solid ring of soy against the edge.
*Tunneling: If the candle is not burned correctly, it will burn down in a tunnel. This is the opposite of pooling. With tunneling, a solid ring of soy does stick to the rim.

TIPS:
-The larger the pool can be, the more fragrance the candle gives off.
-Be careful: Always make sure the candle pools before you extinguish it, otherwise the candle will tunnel the next time.
