What should you consider when using a candle?
-Make sure the candle always burns for at least 2 hours, preferably between 3 and 4 hours for the most ideal scent and melt pool* result.
-The wick should be trimmed regularly. Make sure the wick always sticks out 0.5 centimeters above the candle. This will result in a better result.
-How do you trim a wick? Wait until the candle has solidified and cut the wick with a pair of scissors to about 0.5 centimeter. Remove the remnants.
-A candle is tunneling*, this only happens if the candle has not burned long enough. If this happens, you can easily solve it by letting the candle burn for at least 3 hours, this will let the candle melt and the problem will be solved.
This could result in the wick going "underwater". Then take some kitchen or toilet paper and soak it in the liquid soy, this way you take some soy wax out of the candle and the wick will surface again.
-Only place the lid back on the candle when it has completely cooled down and solidified.
-If necessary, use the lid of the candle as a coaster so that the surface below cannot become too hot and damage.
*Pooling: When a candle burns correctly, it will pool. The soy will become liquid up to the glass without a hard ring of soy sticking against the edge.
*Tunneling: If the candle is not burned correctly, it will burn down in a tunnel. This is the opposite of pooling. With tunneling, a hard ring of soy sticks to the edge.

TIPS:
-The larger the melt pool can become, the more scent the candle gives off.
-Please note: always make sure that the candle pools before you extinguish it, otherwise the candle will tunnel next time.
