"Breu-Branco" or white Breu, is a resin (or sap) from an Amazon tree. It is relatively unknown in the US, but in Brazil, it is used by perfume companies and as an essential oil. The resin itself has been used for centuries by the native forest people for its many beneficial properties. Churches and tribes use it for burning due to its aromatic scent with calming and focusing properties.
There is a top note of amber to enhance the naturally occurring talc-like scent, and a touch of bitter orange and bergamot for added color. Lastly, the blend has been treated with a pinch of animalic musk to enhance, shape, and anchor the original natural musk already present in the resin.
