Where does Reuzel come from?
The brand Reuzel was founded by Leen and Bertus, the owners of Schorem Barbers in Rotterdam. The pomades and other grooming products are produced in the USA and have been a massive success worldwide, and certainly in the Netherlands.
What products does Reuzel offer?
Reuzel Pomade began with a trio of pomades (Reuzel Red, Reuzel Green, and Pink pomade), but they have since expanded their offerings significantly with more pomade variations, such as a Fiber, Extreme matte hold, and of course, the best-selling pomade, Reuzel Blue. Additionally, they have introduced a range of shampoos, conditioners, and shaving products. The beard, of course, can't be left out. The Beard Balm is a robust balm with an old school barber scent. This brand is truly one to be proud of!
What are Reuzel's best-selling products?
The Reuzel Blue pomade is our best-selling pomade. It offers a strong hold, high shine, and is easy to wash out. The Reuzel Red is somewhat less strong but also provides a high shine and is water-based. The Reuzel Green and Pink are oil-based, making them a bit more challenging to wash out of your hair, but they are excellent products if you want to style a serious quiff, for instance.
Which Reuzel products do you recommend?
We, the bearded men, highly recommend the beard balm. It offers a firm hold, softens the beard, and has a distinctive scent. Also, the pomades are very popular, with Reuzel Blue being our favorite.
